The Third Sorrowful Mystery
The Crowning with Thorns

When I unearthed a folder full of work I had done in kindergarten and first grade, I had no idea I'd find such a choice piece of work from my past. I was so impressed with my six-year-old self for coming up with this perspective on the crucifixion. As if the Gap-clad Romans laughing as they whacked the Son of God over the head and Jesus saying "Ow!" (that was probably blasphemous right there) wasn't enough, I drew another Roman asking if they were ready for the cross. (That's what the dude on the right is saying. "Cross yet?" I admit the art and lettering doesn't show the promise of a young Picasso.) Priceless.

Well, I find it amusing.
